Accor has announced it will hold its third Earth Guest Day his year, this will be a group-wide initiative that aims to involve employees across the Accor group in sustainable development projects.
Accor will also introduce a new website on April 22 that will showcase its participation in the Plant for the Planet: there Billion Tree Campaign, which is an initiative launched last year in association with the United Nations Environment Program.

It's wonderful that big hotel chains are really trying to make a difference for our Earth. There's also lots of smaller places to stay that can be found at such places as Environmentally Friendly Hotels ( http://www.environmentallyfriendlyhotels.com ) and at Green Leaf and Green Globe.
ReplyDeleteWhile it is great that the attention is being focused on Green for Earth Day, the other 364 days need this focus as well. When I go on vacation, I use www.environmentallyfriendlyhotels.com to find a hotel that will allow me to stay in a more environmentally friendly way.
